Marvel UK - British Treasury Ads

Thanks to the individual efforts of Treasury Friends Warren Bixby and Graham Hill, I ended up with som many Marvel UK ads for the British treasury editions that I decided to give them their own page!

Even though the books themselves feature the same contents as the American originals, the ads were all original, and boy did Marvel UK come up with some doozys--in some cases, even more beautiful, eye-catching ads than Marvel itself did.

In particular, I love the use of some stock poses mixed in with the treasury covers, like Marvel UK did with Thor, Spidey, Dr. Strange, and the Hulk. They're really spiffy--plus they spell color with a "u", which I always enjoy.
